Dave D'Errico is a retired American soccer player who graduated from New Jersey’s Harrison High School in 1969. He spent six seasons in the North American Soccer League (NASL), five in Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) and one in the United Soccer League (USL). He won three MISL championships and earned nineteen caps with the U.S. national team.
Samuel Dente was a shortstop in Major League Baseball who played for five different teams between 1947 and 1955. Dente was born in Harrison, NJ and played high school baseball at Kearny High School. A competent infielder, Dente was signed by the Boston Red Sox as a free agent in 1941, but almost immediately he had to serve in the military during World War II.
Ray Lucas, a graduate of Harrison High School, was born August 6, 1972 in Harrison, NJ. Lucas is a studio analyst for the show Jets Nation on New York City-based sports network SportsNet New York. Lucas played as a football quarterback in the NFL for four teams, the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens during his seven year career. |
