Hudson County winner joins growing ranks of NJ Mega Millions winners

Mega Millions winning ticket sold in HarrisonTRENTON, NJ- One lucky New Jersey Lottery player has won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 for the Tuesday, February 23 drawing. The winning ticket, which was sold in Hudson County , was purchased at Quick Chek #80, located at 400 Bergen Street in Harrison.

“Congratulations to Quick Chek #80 ,” said the Lottery's Acting Executive Director Steven Palmieri. “ For selling this ticket, they will receive a bonus check for $500. They have become one of the Lottery's most recent ‘lucky locations' overnight.”

While there was no top-prize winner, 54,216 other New Jersey players took home $233,990 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000, according to Palmieri.

The winning numbers for the Tuesday, February 23 drawing were: 04, 16, 36, 40, and 53 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 18. With no winner of the top prize, the Mega Millions jackpot will roll to $99,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Friday, February 26 at 11:00 pm on NJN-TV – the New Jersey Network.
