Q&A with Richard Leighton
Harrisonian Q & A
Current Harrison resident and teacher Richard Leighton answers our questionnaire.
Q: How long have you lived in Harrison? A: We have lived in Harrison for 3 years. Q: What made you move here? A: We were attracted by the townhouse condos by the water and the tax freeze on the units that the town was offering. We liked that it was close to the train to the city and that they were building a stadium here as well. Q: Do you ever see yourself leaving? A: I liked that I did not have to drive everywhere and that I could walk to the main shopping street. I don't see us leaving in the near future because we are comfortable in our home and we are committed to making it a better town!
Q: What's one of your favorite things about living in Harrison? A: I really like the ethnic diversity here and the coffee shops on Sunday morning that I can go to as well as the idea that you can actually see people in your neighborhood unlike some spread out suburbs.
