File Photo: Vera / DailyHarrison.com The Red Bulls continue their three-match homestand on Wednesday, welcoming in Eastern Conference rival, the Chicago Fire, in a matinee showdown that kicks off at 1:00 PM ET (TV: MSG Plus; Radio: WLIB 1190 AM). New York and Chicago enter the match in third and fourth place, respectively, in the East. The Red Bulls were able to grab a hold of the third spot in the conference with their 2-2 draw on Sunday with Seattle Sounders FC. The newest Red Bull, Sebastien Le Toux, burned one of his former teams and notched his first goal in a New York shirt, while Joel Lindpere’s third goal of the season gave the Red Bulls a momentary lead later erased by Fredy Montero’s 67th minute tally. The draw brought New York’s record to 9-5-5, 32 points. -New York Red Bulls Media |
